Background: interprofessional education (IPE) is an educational method, in which students learn two or more specific professions together, from each other, and about each other IPE for health students has been proposed as an alternative to conventional teaching methods.Objectives: The aim of this study was to investigate the viewpoint of faculty members and graduates of Kerman University of Medical SciencesregardingIPEand interprofessional teamwork and determine the characteristics affecting their views on IPEand interprofessional teamwork.Methods: This cross-sectional study was done on faculty members and graduates of various fields of medical sciences working in Kerman in 2018. Samples were selected by the quota sampling method. To collect data, questionnaires of "Attitude TowardsInterprofessional Health Care Teams" and "Attitude Towards Interprofessional Education" were used. Data were analyzed using SPSS software.Results: More than 90% of the participants had a good attitude towards teamwork and IPE. There was no significant relationship between work experience and attitude towards teamwork (P = 0.15), but there was a significant and inverse relationship between work experience and attitudes about interprofessional learning (r = -0.43, P =0.007). Those working in non-governmental jobs showed a better attitude towards teamwork and interprofessional learning (P <0.001).Conclusion: Determining the views of faculty members and graduates of Kerman University of Medical Sciences regarding IPE and its influencing factors is helpful for educational planning and development of educational programs in various fields. Also, for better planning, educational needs explained by these people should be considered. Planning and developing an educational program in this regard can lead to improving the quality of health services.

Background & Objective: Learning style is a distinctive habitual behavior to gain knowledge skills or feedback attained through study or experience The key to engaging students in learning the content is identifying their preferences and learning styles as well as identifying factors influencing these variables To reach this goal predictive variables of learning styles should be accurately identified in order to improve the learning environment The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between learning styles and selfesteem in students of Kerman University of Medical Sciences Iran Methods: This descriptiveanalytical and crosssectional study was carried out on 343 students selected through quota sampling method The data collection tools consisted of a demographic information form the Kolb Learning Style Inventory (LSI) version 2 and the Rosenberg SelfEsteem Scale (RSES) Data were analyzed using chisquare test Spearmans correlation coefficient linear regression and logistic regression Results: The mean (± SD) age of the participants was 2141 (± 296) and 443% of students used absorbent learning style In addition 609% of students had poor selfesteem No statistically significant association was observed between students learning styles and levels of confidence In addition the results showed that only gender was a prognostic factor in determining learning styles Conclusion: The results of this study showed that the students selfesteem and learning styles were not correlated; thus teachers can disregard these factors in their assessment of students learning styles

Background & Objective: The psychosocial climate of the classroom is a general concept for describing explaining and exposing the specific features of a class and has significant effects on students academic achievement This study was conducted for the first time in Iran It was performed to evaluate the relationship between the psychosocial climate of the classroom and academic achievement based on the views of faculty members and PhD students of Kerman University of Medical Sciences Iran Methods: The present study was performed using the census method It was conducted on 222 medicine dentistry and pharmacology students and 21 faculty members of Kerman University of Medical Sciences in 2013 using the psychosocial climate of class questionnaire Data were collected at the end of the second trimester when students received their academic records Data were analyzed using SPSS software independent and paired ttest ANOVA central and diffusion indicators and the Pierson correlation Results: Comparison of faculty members expectation score (3180 ± 477) and perception score (2920 ± 460) showed a significant difference (P < 0050) Based on ANOVA results faculty members expectation level was higher than their perception Comparison of the score of students expectation from (2903 ± 437) and perception of (24433 ± 510) the classroom climate showed a significant difference Expectation level was higher than perception level (P < 0001) There is a negative correlation between students average level and their perception level (P = 0042) Conclusion: The data indicated that there is a significant relationship between students and faculty members level of expectation and perception of psychosocial climate of the classroom The identification and development of conceptual models particularly an experimental model of academic performance based on cognitive features can be helpful in the improvement of the psychosocial climate of the classroom which results in students academic achievement

Background & Objective: Learning style is a distinct behavior for gaining knowledge and skills through study or experience Personality is a series of relatively stable characteristics which distinguish a person from others The key to involving learners in the learning process is their preferences and learning styles and identifying factors affecting these variables In this regard the predictor variables of learning styles must be accurately identified so as to improve educational conditions This study aimed to determine factors predictive of learning styles of the students of Kerman University of Medical Sciences Iran In addition the impact of demographic factors on their characteristics will be discussed Methods: This was a crosssectional study Data collection was performed by a questionnaire including demographic data personality test (NEO) the Learning style inventory and the Kolb Learning Style Questionnaire For data analysis central tendency and dispersion measures chisquare Spearman correlation coefficient and logistic regression tests were used Results: The results show that most of the participants in this study were single women Mean age of participants was 2141 ± 296 years Most students (4431%) used assimilating learning style Based on the results of these personality types nearly a third of students (282%) were of the conscientious (responsible) character type The results showed that only gender is a predictor of learning styles Conclusion: More attention to students learning styles results in the perfect use of teaching practices and increasing and enhancement of students capabilities Moreover by identifying students preferred learning styles and changing teaching methods the students enthusiasm for learning can be increased

Background & Objectives: Inter professional Education for students are introduce as an alternative to traditional educational methods Using this method of teaching had positive effects on student learning professional performance and patient care But students ̓ values are important obstacles in this kind of educational The aim of the present study is to identify students stereotypes regarding practitioners and nurses as an obstacle in Inter professional Education Methods: In this cross sectional study 415 medical and nursing students in Kerman University of Medical Sciences were selected Data collection was based on a questionnaire The questionnaire contains questions about medical and nursing students` stereotypes about each other and about Inter professional Education Data were analyzed by using statistical software SPSSV16 Results : Medical students believed that doctors will show the higher professional characteristics than nurses and vice versa All students agreed with this educational program Most issues should be considered in interdisciplinary education including clinical skills training education of any kind of common skills professional ethics communication skills and interact ion with the patients Conclusion: The survey`s results indicate a need for interdisciplinary training of students that should be considered by educational planners
